Supples is thrilled to present Nostos, a solo exhibition by Thai artist, Thanthai Nachai (B.2000), on view from 15th June until 4th August 2024.

Nostos, a term used in ancient Greek literature, signifies a hero's triumphant return home, their resurgence into light and life, and the development of their character. This idea is at the heart of Thanthai Nachai's inaugural solo exhibition with Supples Gallery.

In addition to its classical connotations, Nostos symbolises Nachai's personal homecoming,returning from university to his family home and discovering possessions and artefacts that remind him of his childhood. This intimate exhibition explores themes of belonging and. nostalgia, expressed through Nachai’s unique stylistic approach.
